At times you have to convince or persuade people to do or don’t do something. Mostly it is accompanied with a reason. OR it is a way in which you indirectly make or stop others to do things according to your desires and wishes.

Sample Dialogue 1
A: I’m not at all interested in her.
B: Have you considered everything about her?
A: Yes, I did and I’m sure she’s not suitable for me.
B: Why don’t you give it a second thought?
Sample Dialogue 2
A: I’ve tried my best and now I’ve lost all hopes.
B: Oh come on! I’m sure you will do well with little concentration.
A: No, I did everything but….
