How To Give & Get Opinion In English?
It can happen in your daily life that people around you ask for your opinion to make better decisions. Maybe in the office your boss asks your opinion to formulate his policy or someone relating to you consider asking about your opinion. Giving opinion is a task of great responsibility, so be careful in giving one.
Use following phrases in such situations:
1. Giving Opinion
a. In my opinion……
b. To the best of my knowledge….
c. As far as I’m concerned…..
d. I think that……..
e. I believe/feel that……
f. According to my point of view….
g. The way I see it……
h. I tend to think that…..
i. I strongly believe that…(strong opinion)
j. I’ve no doubt that……(strong opinion)
2. Saying You Have No opinion
a. I’ve nothing to say about it….
b. I’m (totally) clueless about…..
c. I’ve nothing to say (in particular).
d. Can’t say anything…..
3. Asking For Opinion
a. What’s your opinion about……
b. How do you see it……
c. What’s your view (about the situation)…
d. What do you think……
e. What would you say about it…..

A: Shall we travel by car or bus, what’s your opinion about it?
B: In my opinion we should opt for a bus.
